Isn't it a great time of the year for the east coast of Australia.... Plenty of swell and great wind directions for these swells if you can travel to where it will be best.. Yesterday I did the south coast dash with team riders Dayyan Neve and Laura Enever. Dayyan Neve is off to Tahiti soon and needed to test out some of the new Golden Gun models that I shaped him. And there is no better place to go than some south coast reefs with a nice 4-5ft East swell and light south winds...

Surfing in Chiba, Japan
Just after the trade show in Yokohama, Japan, we got a day of surfing in 0 to 5 deg C air temp and 12 deg C water. Gildz Wetsuits hook me up with a 5/3, hood, gloves and boots and we got out there with 30-50 other surfers to catch a few fun 1-2ft south swell waves....Was it worth it? Well i was nice and warm in my get up, but there were others out there braving the cold in just a 5/3 with nothing else.
Looking like a fat old man!! which i am right now....
Trying to get a slide happening in the powerless waves, felt fun but looks shit :)

the blinde/etnies party
last week the blinde/etnies party hit it off at the mtv gallery in sydney. blinde/etnies team rider mark mathews' hs fiberflex board was present to show the party goes what they ride day in day out.... here are some pics.....
