Hiroto - You Little Legend
Hiroto Arai, one of Haydenshapes's Junior Team riders from Japan, posted his biggest win to date at the FireWire Super Kids Challenge presents by Murasaki Sports at Shonan, Japan. Hiroto rides a FiberFlex EPS HS Peanut model board at 4'11 x 16 1/2 x 1 7/8 Squash tail, FCS. Hiroto spent a week hanging out the Dayyan Neve during the Billabong Tahara Pro 1 week prior to the Super Kids Challenge, and it has definately paid off. Hiroto said "he has now set a new benchmark for himself and will not stop until is doing laybacks like Dayyan."

Tahara Pro Japan
It was a fun event this year at the Tahara Pro, with a 2 day Typhoon swell hitting during the comp. This meant that the event was moved to Centan about 20min from Longbeach. There were some sick lefts running past the second breakwall which gave all those who got knocked out something worth hanging around for. A few of the boys were riding their FiberFlex boards including Dayyan Neve, Mark Mathews and Michael Spencer......
